PK has been in the news for good things as well as bad. The film became the highest grossing Bollywood film, but also faced the ire from a few sections of the society for its content.
However, the film-makers maybe tempted to make a sequel of the film and with PK returning to earth with Ranbir at the end of the film, the sequel may start from where it left off. When we asked Rajkumar Hirani if they plan a sequel and would Ranbir be a part of it, then he mentioned, "Well maybe we can make a sequel.
Let's see. Abhijaat is writing it so let's see (laughs). You have to ask Abhijaat if Ranbir is there in the film or not (laughs again). " With Rajkumar Hirani laughing twice while answering, we aren't sure if he was actually saying the truth or he was joking. So, we wil have to wait and watch.
