After garnering around 500 crores globally, the makers of PK have finally launched the DVD of the film today. The DVD will have bonus content such as a few deleted sequence and behind the scenes footage. They also gave us a sneak preview of the deleted scenes, which were quite interesting.
The DVD was launched by Director Rajkumar Hirani, Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Actor Aamir Khan, Writer Abhijaat Joshi and Reliance Home Video & Games' COO, Sweta Agnihotri.
When we asked how did he decide which scenes to delete and which to keep, director Rajkumar Hirani mentioned, "We had a test screening and when we saw that people were sad that Aamir had gone, we decided to change the scene from the one that was deleted. Also, the other scenes were deleted keeping in mind the continuity of the film and the story. This is actually the first time we have given out deleted scenes with the DVD, which is a great thought." The DVD will be available in the markets from 16th March.
