Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ has raked in over Rs.600 crore worldwide. Post its release the movie was in news as some claimed that the movie has hurt religious sentiments. However, the superstar has now apologised to all those who got offended by the movie as they did not intend to hurt anyone’s feelings.
“Clearly the film has been loved by majority, so most of the people have liked it. A lot of people have loved it that’s why it is so successful. So we are very happy about it. But now I am talking personally, it’s not Raju’s (Rajkumar Hirani) opinion or Vinod’s (Vidhu Vinod Chopra), it is my opinion, I feel bad if I hurt a single person. They did not like the film that’s a different thing, but if you got hurt by watching the film, I feel bad about it. And our intention was not that,” Aamir said at the DVD launch of the movie on Wednesday.
“I can say that for all three of us and even for Abhijaat (Joshi), that we did not want to hurt anyone…I want to apologise if we have hurt even a single human being,” he added.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘PK’ released in theatres on December 19. The movie also featured Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt.
